What does it do?
headslinger is a user-friendly and simple news aggregator that allows you to organize your favorite news sources for quick access, discover similar news sources, and connect with people with similar news interests.
Why do we need it?
News junkies are creatures of habit–vising the same group of sites each day to scan headlines. There are tools that aggregate and highlight news on a single-link level, but none are aggregating and connecting people on the source level.
Who is it for?
News junkies and the constant web browser.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
By aggregating, connecting, discovering news based on preferred news sources, a user is able to take the effort out of news consumption, by reading their favorite headlines in one place–without having to understand or set-up RSS feeds.
What’s next?
The headslinger team built this to solve a problem that they, as news consumers, had. We look forward to continuing to grow the headslinger audience and add features that make news-reading as easy as it should be.
